Collection: December Birthstones

December babies have the most choice for birthstone of all! Both blue topaz, which comes in different shades from light Sky Blue to the nearly neon blue of Swiss Blue to the mysterious depths of London Blue, and Blue Zircon (my favorite!), which comes in a similar variety of shade but colors range from a deep electric blue to blue green with an underlying silvery quality. Alternatively, turquoise has been added as a birthstone for December and there are lots of beautiful varieties to choose from. I am mostly using Arizona turquoise, particularly from my hoard of Sleeping Beauty turquoise but I also have some beautiful Kingman (also from Arizona), and exceptional Mexican turquoise, and a small stash of Bisbee.
