September babies are lucky, they have two beautiful stones to choose from: the traditional blue sapphire and the accepted alternative lapis lazuli! Sapphire surprisingly comes in many different colors other than the well known blue, nearly every color of the rainbow is represented with sapphire! Lapis lazuli is known for it's deep clear blue, often with veins of sparkling pyrite running through it.
