Meditate on the lotus...
The image of a lotus flower fills me with a feeling of inner peace. A beautiful flower that grows in the muck is a symbol of hope and inner peace and strength. The lotus is a perennial symbol of resilience as it grows and flourishes in the muck. To me it is a talisman to remind the wearer of their own inner strength when they feel that they are stuck in the muck. We may feel that we are in a murky place in our lives, but we will bloom beautifully, all the stronger for what we have come through.
The silk ribbon measures 36" long, the lotus component measures just about 3/4" round.
