The young stag, beautifully resplendent and at rest under the glory of a flowering tree, is a symbol of transformation and of coming into ones own.
This sylvan tableau is cast in silver precious metal clay from a mold I made of an antique button. Once fired this petite pendant is burnished for several hours, then oxidized and buffed to bring out detail, burnished again and then hand polished for a mellow shine.
The pendant measures 3/4" long and 3/8" wide and are solid sterling silver.
