From delicate sterling silver lotus flowers dangle kyanite briolettes of the most liquid ocean blue, reminiscent of the color of turquoise waters in some of the most beautiful places on Earth.
I made these earrings using dainty lotus outlines wrought in brushed sterling silver to which I carefully wrapped these lovely aqua kyanite heart shaped briolettes with sterling silver wire and then added my beaded end sterling silver earwires for the finishing touch. These earrings measure 1 1/4" long and are about 3/8" wide.
Kyanite is considered an alternative birthstone for those born in September. It is associated with all chakras with this particular aqua color giving special attention to the throat chakra which is said to encourage clear communication and self expression.
