Why This Piece Stands Out
This pendant is created using layers of silver metal clay carefully formed into a hollow “slide” bead construction. The front features an impression taken from a wax seal stamp depicting a traditional Scottish thistle, while the reverse reveals an ornate paisley floral texture inspired by antique textiles and decorative metalwork.
The interior channel allows the chain to pass directly through the pendant itself, eliminating the need for a visible bail and giving the piece its sleek, understated profile.
After firing in the kiln, each pendant is hand-finished through multiple stages of burnishing, oxidation, buffing, and polishing to bring out the depth and detail of the design.
Because each pendant is individually handcrafted, the placement of the paisley pattern on the reverse side may vary slightly from the piece shown, making every necklace subtly one of a kind.
