A flash of silver beneath still water.
A ripple spreading across the surface of a quiet pond.
The brief moment when something hidden reveals itself, then slips from view once again.
This handcrafted fine silver pendant was inspired by those moments of discovery—the small, often overlooked experiences that invite us to slow down, look closer, and see the world differently.
At first glance, the design appears almost abstract: flowing lines, shifting textures, and a pale blue zircon that catches the light like sunlight dancing across water. Look a little longer, and the koi gradually emerges from beneath the surface.

Handcrafted Fine Silver Artisan Jewelry
Created in fine silver and set with a faceted pale blue zircon, this petite pendant captures the feeling of movement beneath stillness.
The koi is intentionally subtle. Rather than presenting the fish in a literal way, the design suggests its presence through texture, light, and form. The zircon becomes part of the scene—a glimmer of reflected sunlight, a ripple, a fleeting flash beneath the water.
Every pendant is individually handcrafted and finished by hand in my Maryland studio, making each piece uniquely its own.
A Pendant Inspired by Hidden Beauty
Some things announce themselves immediately.
Others reveal themselves gradually.
This pendant was inspired by the experience of looking into a pond and catching a glimpse of something unexpected—a flash of silver, a movement beneath the surface, a reminder that there is often more here than we first realize.
For me, the koi is less a symbol of achievement than a symbol of attention.
Of pausing long enough to notice.
Of remaining open to wonder.
Of recognizing beauty in places others might overlook.
Like the fish beneath the water, many meaningful things reveal themselves only when we are willing to look a little longer.

A Note from the Artist
I have always been drawn to water.
Ponds, creeks, streams, and waterfalls have a way of slowing me down and inviting me to pay attention. This pendant grew from that feeling, as well as from my love of Impressionist paintings and garden ponds where light, reflection, and movement continually transform what we think we are seeing.
I love that the koi isn't immediately obvious.
Like many meaningful things, it reveals itself gradually.
