A Note From The Artist
This design was inspired by a walk through a temperate rainforest of New Zealand's South Island. Along the Lake Gunn Nature Trail, I discovered a dew-covered spiderweb suspended inside a hollow tree trunk. The forest felt ancient and hushed, as though I had stumbled upon a doorway into another world.
I wanted to capture that feeling of wonder—the sense that beauty, mystery, and connection exist all around us if we pause long enough to notice. The Jeweled Web is my attempt to carry a small piece of that experience home and share it with others.
