I cast these beautifully detailed dainty little earrings in sterling silver from a mold I made of a Victorian Era button. I call this design "Star Flower", as it depicts an Egyptian Star Flower blossom being held inside of the curve of a stylized crescent moon. Once fired in my kiln the clay transforms into pure sterling silver and it is burnished for several hours. I then oxidize and buff the silver to show contrast and detail, burnish again, hand polish, and add sterling silver earwires to complete the earrings.
The earrings measure approximately 3/4 inches long and are 3/8 inches wide.
