A young stag rests beneath flowering branches, suspended in a moment of stillness before the world awakens.
This piece feels like early spring — that tender space between frost and bloom, where strength is quiet and renewal is just beginning.
Handcrafted in fine silver from a vintage button impression, the stag is framed by delicate blossoms and branches. I’ve oxidized the silver to bring out the woodland details, then paired it with hand-dyed silk ribbon in layered tones of rose, sage, soft plum, and muted blush — the colors of garden petals and new growth.
Wrap it once, twice, or three times around your wrist depending on your size and styling. It feels effortless, romantic, and deeply connected to the natural world.
To me, the resting stag represents:
• Emerging strength
• Gentle awareness
• Protection without aggression
• The sacred pause before growth
Part of my Woodland Reverie collection — a gathering of talismans honoring the protective, mythic spirit of the natural world — each one celebrating the mythic and protective spirit of the forest.
Wear it as a Spring Equinox talisman, or as a reminder that growth doesn’t have to be rushed. Even the stag rests beneath blossoms.
Handcrafted in my studio in small, soulful batches.
The silk ribbon measures 36" long, the lotus component measures just about 3/4" round.
